We always want new ideas for making money. I keep my eye out for interesting articles about how to change my life in some way. As a rainy day project I collect ideas for extra income just in case I find myself out of a job. Here are some of the latest ideas I have discovered.
Sell Clothes through Online Consignment Stores
Tired of the eBay and Amazon cliche? Etsy got you down? Fret not, my friends. You can dump your old clothes on Websites like Threadflip, Tradesy, and Twice.
Build a Video Channel
If you like to talk and don’t mind talking to strangers you can start recording a video a day and upload it to YouTube as your Vlog (Video Blog). Turn on the advertising and start collecting income. It doesn’t get much easier than that. As you earn more followers and video views you’ll start earning money.
Sell Your Pictures Online
There are companies out there looking to buy pictures that ordinary, everyday people take. And there are two companies (maybe more) that you can sign up with to sell your pictures. Foap and Fotolia are the leaders in grass roots stock photography.
Publish Your Own Books
Amazon has a service called CreateSpace where you can upload as many books as you want and sell them either as print-on-demand books or as Kindle eBooks. This is better than the Kindle Direct Publishing program. You may not sell many copies of any one book but you can sell a lot of books.
There are other ways to make money online but these are like the coolest ideas I have seen in a while. I know YouTube has been around for years but it’s finally starting to take off as a grass roots platform for making money.
